Are you an experienced Process Technologist ready to take the lead on factory trials and scale-up projects? We're recruiting for a Senior Process Technologist to join a well-established and growing food manufacturer based in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in bringing new and improved products to life - from concept through to successful factory launch. As Senior Process Technologist, you will be responsible for managing and delivering factory trials, ensuring smooth scale-up from kitchen to full production, and driving process improvements across the site. You'll act as a key link between departments, working cross-functionally with NPD, Technical, Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within cost parameters, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage factory trials from planning through to execution and review
Drive successful scale-up of products into full manufacturing
Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment across departments
Troubleshoot process issues and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Support CI initiatives to improve efficiency, yield, and performance
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and technical standards
Provide clear documentation and reporting throughout projects
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Process Technologist role within food manufacturing (essential)
Strong track record of running factory trials and scaling up products
Experience working cross-functionally within a manufacturing environment
Exposure to Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies (desirable)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Organised, proactive, and confident operating in a fast-paced factory environment
