Job Description:

Airswift are supporting a global drilling programme with upcoming deepwater wells planned in Nigeria and additional wells in the East Mediterranean. The role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, operational decision making and the ability to mentor junior team members while collaborating closely with drilling, subsurface, and real time operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide real-time geological operations support during deepwater drilling campaigns
  • Lead geosteering activities, ensuring accurate wellbore placement
  • Interpret pore pressure and wellbore stability data to support safe and efficient drilling decisions
  • Act as a senior technical mentor to junior geologists and wider operations team

Requirements:

  • Operator-side experience (major or independent operators)
  • Deepwater drilling experience in complex offshore environments
  • Strong background in geo steering
  • Proven expertise in pore pressure prediction & wellbore stability
  • A senior-level profile with the ability to act as a mentor and technical lead
  • Prior experience in remote or real-time operations centres
