The Senior Manager, L&D EMEA is responsible for leading the strategic and operational delivery of Marriott’s digital and technology transformation (DTT) related learning strategy across the region. This role drives the deployment and adoption of Power of M-aligned learning assignments across the EMEA enterprise, ensuring consistency, scale, and impact. Acting as a critical connector between global strategy and regional execution, the role partners closely with key stakeholders to enable data‑driven decision making, optimize the use of Marriott’s digital learning platforms, and embed Power of M learning in support of business performance and transformation across EMEA.
Job Responsibility:
Learning Lead for EMEA Power of M Communities: Ensure hotels and teams (including continent offices) are fully equipped for successful Power of M cutover related to learning
Provide access to the right learning resources to ensure success during and beyond the cutover
Offer clarity on learning-related contacts and timelines
Facilitate workshops, webinars and office hours to ensure readiness and completion of learning related cutover activities
Facilitate easy reporting on learning-related business readiness requirements
Identify and mitigate risks related to learning assignments in partnership with Learning Technology for each Power of M Community
Global Talent Development: Participate in DTT Learning Meetings with Global Learning Development, Global Learning PMO, and Brand Talent/PAs, capturing key action items for EMEA
Engage on other DTT workstreams within the COE, as needed
Partnership, Alignment, and Advisory: Partner with Power of M Change & Comms and Deployment leads for End User Council engagement related to learning
Support change and communication strategy to keep the Learning Team aligned and appropriately amplifying program-specific communications in lockstep with the BTO
Engage continent resources and SMEs for curricula/content review, including non-systems learning
Represent the EMEA L+D at Power of M related forums
Align with all DTT business partners and EMEA L+D team members to ensure coordinated workstreams as updates and launches occur
Oversee the pull-through of DTT content into current EMEA learning offerings and resources as relevant
Align BAU learning needs in partnership with EMEA L+D Leadership Team, including learning bundle funded programs, for communities cutting over in waves while ensuring priority needs for DTT are met
Data Intelligence and Tracking: Track measurables throughout the project to show adoption of the new learning model
Drive data intelligence by building customized learning dashboards, leveraging technology tools and Marriott’s digital learning platforms to interpret and analyze data, provide actionable insights, and inform strategic decision making
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
Marriott certified learning coordinator with advanced knowledge of Marriott’s digital learning platforms
Demonstrated experience facilitating virtual and in person leadership and talent development programs
Ability to travel as needed for workshop delivery
