Job Responsibility:
Analyze international transportation data (ocean, air, and ground) to identify cost savings, transit time trends, and service level opportunities
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track KPIs such as carrier performance, on-time delivery and freight spend
Support annual freight tenders by aggregating and evaluating carrier proposals and modeling rate scenarios
Reconcile freight invoices and accruals to ensure accuracy in billing and financial reporting
Assist in monitoring and forecasting global freight costs, including fuel surcharges, GRI/PSS, and currency impacts
Partner with freight forwarders and steamship lines to resolve discrepancies in shipment tracking, documentation, and rates
Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for leadership and internal teams including finance, procurement, and compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related supply chain experience
5–7 years of experience in international transportation, logistics, or supply chain analytics
Fluent in English
Basic understanding of ocean and air freight operations and incoterms
Proficient in data analysis, database management, and reporting tools (Excel, Access, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to work cross-functionally and with external partners
Self-starter that can work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and freight audit/payment platforms
Familiarity with global geography
Prior experience working with freight forwarders, steamship lines, or 3PL providers
Understanding of ocean and air freight operations, incoterms, and documentation requirements
