Job Description:

As a Senior Installation Supervisor at Bühler you are managing and leading a team of technician required for the installation of big and / or complex projects (X-BU, type A projects). You would be responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of the installation supervision, within scope of work associated to the assigned project.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and leading a team of technicians for installation of big and/or complex projects
  • Planning, preparation and execution of installation supervision
  • Ensuring personnel are acquainted with site rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures
  • Performing installation according to specifications and engineering documents
  • Monitoring progress of construction against program
  • Initiating mitigation/preventive actions to achieve target program
  • Conducting or attending daily and weekly meetings with staff and subcontractors
  • Ensuring Site and Project Manager receive regular information updates
  • Ensuring correct behaviour and good teamwork within the installation and commissioning team
  • Ensuring proper reporting
  • Identifying, documenting and communicating deviations from customer contract
  • Maintaining intensive customer relationship and high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree
  • 10 years of experience as Chief Installation Supervisor or proof of sufficient skills
  • Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong planning, organising and priority setting skills
  • Proven ability to manage teams
  • Strong customer focus
  • Sound judgment and decision making
  • Problem solving skills
