A full-time opportunity exists for a Consultant, Functional Analyst in Digital Technologies. This role will serve as the functional platform lead for a major enterprise’s Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform across enterprise-scale websites. Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Business Solutions, the successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Information Services (IS) teams, and external vendor partners. This position is critical to ensuring the AEM platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned with the organization's digital strategy and enterprise architecture, owning the functional outcomes for the platform's delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the functional lead for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform across all cross-functional initiatives
Define and maintain the AEM product and application roadmap in alignment with business objectives and architectural standards
Provide subject-matter expertise on AEM and Adobe capabilities to guide strategic decisions, evaluating new technologies to maximize out-of-the-box functionality
Lead the optimization of the Digital Asset Management and Content Management (AEM) platform to ensure stability, security, and performance
Oversee AEM functional operations, including incident management, demand intake, and data quality
Coordinate platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance with IS teams and vendors, ensuring adherence to governance processes
Support business users and engage in daily scrums and technical discussions to guide technical decision-making
Manage the end-to-end business requirements lifecycle for AEM initiatives, from intake through delivery
Partner with stakeholders, IS teams, and managed service providers (AMS) to define project scope and delivery approach
Elicit and document requirements for complex projects, including system integrations, migrations, and localization
Translate business needs into clear, well-structured Agile user stories with complete acceptance criteria
Develop and maintain functional and solution design artifacts, such as conceptual models and high-level architecture diagrams
Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure solutions are scalable, appropriately scoped, and sustainable
Lead functional input into testing strategy, test scenarios, and support System Integration and User Acceptance Testing (SIT/UAT)
Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize short- and long-term platform enhancements
Work closely with internal IS teams and external vendor partners (including Adobe and AMS) to align on delivery and operations
Communicate complex technical and non-technical information effectively to drive alignment and informed decision-making
Requirements:
6–10 years in a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for enterprise-scale websites
Strong understanding of AEM DevOps processes, including deployment and build troubleshooting
Ability to wireframe AEM components and features, along with hands-on experience developing or supporting AEM components using HTML, CSS, and XML
University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and facilitation skills
Results-oriented mindset with proven ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and lead collaborative discussions
Proven experience working effectively with outsourced vendors and cross-functional teams
