Job Responsibility:
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners
Ensure proper documentation for all freight transactions and shipments
Monitor and enforce safety standards within the freight operations team
Lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and service quality
Oversee daily freight operations, ensuring timely and efficient shipment processing
Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize routing and reduce costs
Monitor shipment tracking and address any delays or operational issues
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key carriers and service providers
Analyze freight performance metrics and implement improvement strategies
Prepare and manage freight budgets, ensuring cost efficiency
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet client requirements
Conduct regular audits of freight processes and documentation for accuracy
Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers and logistics providers
Implement best practices for freight handling and transportation processes
Train and mentor freight operations staff to enhance skills and productivity

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in freight operations or logistics management
Strong understanding of freight forwarding and transportation regulations
Proven experience managing carrier relationships and negotiations
Familiarity with Logistics management software and warehouse management systems
Experience with budget management and cost optimization in freight operations
Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and reporting
Knowledge of customs processes and international shipping practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis
Experience in training and developing team members
