Job Description:

Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker / cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker / cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center
  • Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center
  • Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
  • Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
  • Identify and communicate inventory exceptions to the leadership team
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
  • Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
  • Understand and apply health and safety guidelines/procedures
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
  • Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
  • Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
  • Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, reach truck, etc.
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written in English
