Job Description:

The Equity Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role within the Capital Markets Group, with responsibilities including managing client relationships, developing investment strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility:

This role is based within the Capital Markets Group, covering direct client activity in equity cash, listed derivatives and light OTC exotic equity product
Actively market and develop a dedicated client base of between 20-30 long term accounts
Identify client needs and objectives and match to service delivery capabilities
Develop and update market intelligence
Introduce single stock ideas through Citi Research and CPB research functions
Maintain rigorous risk management approach with clients on their exposures
Increase sales across the product set from cash equities and listed derivatives to OTC derivatives
Communicate/deliver/close on client investment proposals and new account pitches
Ensure conformity with global standards of client service, regulatory, compliance, and operating model
Increase connectivity and engagement between Markets and Citi Private Bank clients and staff
Actively participate in daily morning meetings and marketing team sales calls
Assist with the roll-out and development of the IT projects needed to expand and improve on the platform

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience
Experience in sales and trading of Equity products including cash Equity, listed derivatives and equity OTC derivatives
Experience of market commentary and analysis capabilities
Experience of Developed as well as Emerging Markets
Good interpersonal and communication skills essential
Strong IT skills essential
Ability to develop strong working relationships across functional and geographical lines
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Fluent spoken and written English
Regulated role with applicable/mandatory licenses and/or qualifications
