Job Description:

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be a technical leader and people manager, responsible for leading the team to technical decisions and delivery for production services that meet the high bar of quality our customers expect. You will do that by ensuring the right software is built to solve the customer needs, helping prioritize and organize the team's work, and providing career growth and mentorship opportunities to your team. You will manage a group of 10-18 engineers on a Backend Software Engineering Team and work closely with your design and product management counterparts to build user journeys that unleash the potential of each team for our current and future customers.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience implementing dev-ops best practices.
  • Familiarity working with distributed, high scale, high growth services.
  • Excited to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to make tech and business tradeoff decisions and leading through ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow, mentor, coach software engineers.
