Job Description:

The Engineer – DBA role is a vital function of Operation. 2nd Level Assurance is responsible for the end-to-end 2nd Level technical support for the issues arising in Managed Services Customers’ cellular network pertaining to DB operation!

Job Responsibility:

  • Troubleshooting/ Changes/analysis on various databases technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle and open source DBs
  • Good configuration & troubleshoot experience on DBs
  • Take DB Backup, DB recovery if required and automate day to day operational tasks
  • Ready to work in 24X7 support and should have knowledge and good understanding about SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting
  • Have knowledge about subscriber profile and its functionality and Good customer handling skill
  • Software development life-cycle (SDLC) exposure with hands on Design, coding, testing and Integration phases, including PLSQL

Requirements:

  • B.E / B-Tech (E&C)
  • 3+ years in DBA
  • Good Technical Knowledge on DB technologies and backup recovery, performance tuning
  • Understanding of all Processes, routines activities and Performance management & Characteristics of application load
  • DB Architecture and its sub processes
  • Excellent written and communication skills and good understanding about all KPIs
