This nursery is conveniently located just steps from Wanstead Station on the Central Line, with multiple bus routes stopping directly outside the nursery for easy access. This is a full time permanent role, offering stability and the chance to grow in an exceptional nursery environment. If you’re ready to be a part of something greater and help us continue our important work, we’d love to hear from you. This position is subject to a 6-month probationary period and requires verification of identity, proven right to work in the UK, and satisfactory references from previous employers covering the past 3 years. Applicants must declare any unspent criminal convictions and, where necessary, provide a satisfactory risk assessment. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Check is mandatory for the successful candidate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and our sequenced Curriculum, fostering children’s holistic development
  • Actively integrate rights-respecting principles into everyday learning, encouraging respect and empathy among children
  • Work alongside a dedicated group of educators to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Participate in training opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice

  • A commitment to promoting the rights and voices of children
  • Creativity, empathy, and a passion for fostering curiosity and independence
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Bring energy, creativity, and a passion for nurturing young minds
What we offer:
  • A collaborative and inspiring work environment
  • A CPD and a culture fully committed to evidence-based teaching and learning development
  • An opportunity to work alongside motivated and passionate colleagues in a positive, purposeful, and ambitious nursery setting
  • Access to leadership mentoring programme tailored for aspiring staff taking on leadership roles
  • Holiday allowance of 29 days (including birthday leave)
  • 3 additional days when the nursery is closed during Christmas and New Year
  • Childcare Discounts 20% off childcare fees
  • Access to a dedicated staff well-being committee and an active staff forum with assigned representatives
  • High street vouchers and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) access
  • Attend networking dinners and charity events
