This role is part of our Technology business unit based in Croatia. Our offices are home to a diverse and talented team of people across various disciplines. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development of Drupal 9/10 websites and custom modules
  • Collaborate with UX, design, and strategy teams to scope and shape digital products
  • Architect and implement scalable back-end solutions, including API integrations and content modeling
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed development plans
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with an emphasis on performance and security
  • Maintain and upgrade existing Drupal installations
  • Support DevOps processes including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment workflows
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical standards within the team
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
  • Stay current with Drupal community updates and contribute where relevant

Requirements:

  • Extensive professional experience with Drupal development
  • Expertise in Drupal 9/10 site building, theming, and custom module development
  • Strong PHP development skills and understanding of modern OOP patterns
  • Experience with Composer, Drush, Twig, Symfony components
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/SCSS), JavaScript, and responsive web practices
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, headless CMS approaches, and integrations
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and agile development practices
  • Experience working in a digital agency or fast-paced multi-project environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

  • Acquia Certified Drupal Developer or similar certification
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue) or decoupled Drupal setups
  • Familiarity with Docker or other containerisation tools
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins
  • Contribution to Drupal community (modules, patches, forums) is a plus
