We’re looking for a Senior Director, Business Analytics to lead our Analytics organization within Finance. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Finance, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and accountability, partnering closely with Finance, Product, Commercial, and Executive Leadership. This leader will strengthen and scale our analytics function as a core driver of business performance — building durable frameworks that connect measurement, insight, and execution, and ensuring insights are consistently translated into clear accountability, prioritization, and action across the organization. In this role, you’ll lead a team of analytics leaders and their embedded teams across the business, establishing clear operating models and standards, elevating how insights are generated, communicated, and acted upon company-wide.
Job Responsibility:
Drive Business Insight & Accountability: Own and evolve Fullscript’s business performance measurement approach, ensuring clarity, consistency, and trust in core metrics across the organization
Partner with the VP of Strategic Finance, CFO, and executive leadership to ensure analytics and insights are execution-ready for business performance reviews, strategic deep dives, and key investment decisions
Synthesize complex analyses into clear, decision-ready narratives that connect performance, drivers, and tradeoffs — not just outcomes
Help establish a shared understanding of what good performance looks like and how progress is measured over time
Enable Strategy & Execution: Embed analytics deeply into the company’s highest-priority initiatives, ensuring data and insight are tightly integrated into strategy definition, execution, and performance measurement
Support strategic planning by sizing opportunities, evaluating tradeoffs, and defining success metrics that meaningfully guide execution
Ensure analytics work is focused on the highest-leverage business questions, not just ad hoc requests
Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Product, and Commercial to structure problems and clarify what decisions data should inform
Lead & Scale the Analytics Organization: Lead a team of analytics leaders and their embedded teams across the business, with clear accountability for day-to-day execution within each lane
Establish clear standards for analytical quality, consistency, and timeliness — ensuring metrics, methodologies, and conclusions are aligned and trusted across teams, and that insights arrive early enough to meaningfully influence decisions
Establish clear operating models, prioritization frameworks, and intake processes that balance responsiveness with strategic focus
Maintain high standards for analytical rigor, data quality, and storytelling while empowering teams to operate autonomously and close to execution
Build a strong leadership bench and a culture focused on impact, clarity, and outcomes
Strengthen the Finance–Business Partnership: Act as a connective leader between Finance and execution teams, ensuring insights are operationalized with clear ownership, quality standards, and execution follow-through
Partner closely with Strategic Finance and FP&A to align forecasting, performance tracking, and long-term planning
Help evolve Finance’s role as a strategic partner by improving how performance insights inform planning, prioritization, and accountability
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, strategy, or related expertise, with significant experience partnering with senior leaders
Proven success leading analytics and data science teams, including senior individual contributors and people leaders, in complex, cross-functional environments
Strong analytical judgment and technical fluency — able to review, challenge, and guide analytical work without needing to be hands-on in the tools
Experience setting standards for analytical rigor, data quality, and consistency, and holding teams accountable to them
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into clear, decision-ready narratives for executive audiences
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities evolve and tradeoffs must be made
Strong collaborator and influencer, able to drive alignment across Finance, Product, and Commercial teams without formal authority
