Senior DevOps CI/CD

• Manage deployments across Development, Staging, and Production environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and GitHub Actions
• Implement Canary and Hotfix deployment strategies within CI/CD workflows
• Provide guidance and approval for Ruby on Rails (Ruby) scripting performed by junior engineers, ensuring smooth deployment across development environments
• Automate deployments, health checks, and environment recovery using Bash, Ruby, and Python
• Review and approve CI/CD scripts and pull requests, ensuring high code quality
• Use Terraform to script and provision cloud infrastructure
• Monitor system health and ensure 99.999% uptime using Datadog
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve workflows and reduce manual tasks
• Integrate security scanning and stress testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze performance data and implement auto-scaling and auto-healing strategies

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch and maintaining them
• Proficiency with Terraform and a deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code
• Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and related AWS tooling
• Expertise in CircleCI and GitHub Actions
• Solid knowledge of Canary and Hotfix deployment strategies
• Experience integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in scripting with Python (mandatory), Bash, and optionally Ruby
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog
