Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programming activities. This includes systems analysis, programming, architectural design, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with standards.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs
monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
provide user and operational support on applications to business users
analyze complex problems/issues and evaluate business and system processes
recommend and develop security measures in post implementation
consult with users/clients and other technology groups
recommend programming solutions
ensure essential procedures are followed
serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
operate with limited supervision
exercise judgment and autonomy
act as SME to senior stakeholders or team members
demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

8-12 years of relevant experience
experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
experience in managing and implementing successful projects
working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate with expertise in high level and low level design, development, performance tuning, troubleshooting and deployment
hands-on experience with Python and Python framework is preferred
understanding of Oracle, SQL
Big Data knowledge is a plus
exposure to app architectural and designing
experience in designing and implementing Microservices, Cloud design patterns, Kubernetes or any Cloud Infrastructure
understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems
designing and architectural solutions with latest tech advancements
familiarity with SDLC and Agile processes
knowledge of distributed computing, SOA concepts, RESTful API design, cloud computing and deployment strategies using virtual environments
ability to produce professional technical/process documentation
work independently and in team environments
knowledge of relational database systems and data models
experience with source code control systems, unit test framework, build and deployment tools
experience with large-scale program rollouts.

Nice to have:

Big Data knowledge
hands-on experience with Python and Python framework.
