Job Description:

As a senior data visualization consultant at Sopra Steria, you will leverage your expertise to optimize datasets, develop dashboards, and enhance reporting quality by utilizing tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, or D3.js. You will be part of the Data Visualization team and contribute to its development and collaboration, while helping clients understand data and enabling actionable insights.

Job Responsibility:

Help clients solve complex data issues
collect data from various sources
optimize datasets for visualization
develop insightful and user-friendly dashboards
increase the quality of reporting and visualizations using Sopra Steria design-thinking methodology
contribute to the vision and development of the Data Visualization team
make abstract information accessible and understandable
translate relevant data into clear tables, graphs, diagrams, and heatmaps
enable well-founded decision-making based on insights.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of data visualization experience and ability to demonstrate this with a demo or portfolio
creative but pragmatic mindset without losing sight of the details
knowledge of best practices and visual design principles
at least 2 years of experience in a visualization tool or library such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, D3.js (demonstrable via portfolio or certification)
knowledge of other tools is a plus
knowledge of HTML/CSS and programming languages such as javascript, python, C# is a plus
experience with performance tuning of dashboards
knowledge and feeling for UX design is a plus
ability to act as an expert and coach people
effective communication with colleagues, clients, and end users of visualizations
passion for data visualization
proficiency in English, with knowledge of Dutch and/or French as a plus.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of other visualization tools
knowledge of HTML/CSS and programming languages such as javascript, python, C#
knowledge and feeling for UX design
proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
