Miniclip is on the lookout for a to join our Data team at our Lisbon Studio. In this role, you’ll help turn complex data into meaningful insights that directly shape our games, products, and business decisions. You’ll work at the intersection of data, product, and experimentation, collaborating closely with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand player behaviour, optimise features, and build scalable data science solutions. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also help define best practices and support the growth of more junior colleagues. Job Responsibility:
Build automated and interactive data science products that support product and business decisions
Design, execute, and support experiments to validate hypotheses and product objectives
Partner with Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
Track and monitor the performance of data science products and act on performance issues when needed
Run exploratory data analysis to support data science initiatives and uncover meaningful insights
Clearly communicate findings and project status to both technical and non-technical audiences
Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their development
Help establish, maintain, and evolve data science best practices across the team
Requirements:
A university degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience
Strong experience building and deploying predictive models and machine learning solutions
Advanced knowledge of statistics, experimentation, and experimental design
Proficiency in Python, following development best practices
Experience processing large datasets using Spark or PySpark
Experience with cloud platforms for data storage and model deployment, preferably AWS
Confidence presenting insights and results to cross-functional stakeholders
A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Motivation to stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends
Nice to have:
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Bash, Docker, or Databricks
