Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee regional data privacy compliance across multiple jurisdictions (including EU, US, and APAC), ensuring alignment with global standards
  • Lead privacy governance initiatives — policy implementation, internal audits, and regulatory liaison — with support from external privacy consultants
  • Partner closely with Legal, Risk, and IT to advise on data handling, vendor arrangements, and incident response processes
  • Drive group-wide training and awareness programs to strengthen data protection culture and ensure ongoing compliance readiness

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified (ideally in Law) with recognised data protection certifications such as CIPP, CIPT, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance, legal, audit, or risk, with strong exposure to data privacy regulations across EU and key APAC jurisdictions
  • Proven background in policy development, compliance training, and preferably experience within financial or insurance institutions
