Join our Data Engineering team! We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the engineering team at Modus. Want to help our clients build awesome solutions to accomplish their goals and vision? Requirements:

  • Experience Level: Senior
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Snowflake, and Tableau
  • Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and probability distributions
  • Experience working with machine learning tools and algorithms
  • Proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business or product insights
  • Hands-on experience building robust, flexible data pipelines in production environments
  • Experience integrating data across multiple systems and data sources, including APIs and external platforms
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, data, and quality/validation contexts
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance in ambiguous, research-heavy environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI/LLM evaluation frameworks or tooling (e.g., HealthBench, Label Studio, or similar platforms)
  • Prior work on AI safety, validation, or evaluation methodologies, particularly in regulated or high-risk domains (e.g., healthcare)
  • Experience designing or evaluating LLM-based systems, including automated evaluation approaches (e.g., LLM-as-Judge)
  • Background in health AI, clinical data, or healthcare analytics
  • Experience taking AI or data science research concepts and successfully productionizing them
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including influencing technical and non-technical audiences
