Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Energy Generation and Management division in Athens, Greece. By joining this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Power Trading team by turning market data into actionable insights that drive strategic trading decisions and performance monitoring.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze energy market trends, trading performance, and financial outcomes
Design and deploy advanced dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI) to support real-time decision-making
Collaborate closely with traders and other stakeholders to identify data needs and deliver analytical solutions
Monitor and forecast key indicators such as prices, demand/supply patterns
Enhance data collection procedures and support ETL processes to improve data quality and accessibility
Act as a liaison between Power Trading and Data Management teams to drive cross-functional data initiatives
Develop and refine predictive models to support market analysis and trading strategies
Process large datasets to uncover trends, patterns and correlations in the power markets

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of proven experience in data analysis, ideally in energy or financial markets
Strong skills in statistical analysis and data modeling
Proficiency in data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel (advanced), SQL, Python or R
Solid understanding of database systems and ETL processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences
