Job Description:

Senior Data Analyst position in the Global Data & Analytics Team, partnering with central and local Category and Operations teams to support Merchandise and Food function teams. Responsible for delivering advanced analytics and insights that drive business results and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Evaluate performance of categories and activities using advanced analytical methods
Support stakeholders with actionable insights based on transactional, financial or customer data
Oversee design and measurement of experiments and pilots
Initiate and conduct advanced analytics projects such as clustering, forecasting, causal impact
Advocate for data-driven culture among different stakeholders

Requirements:

Higher degree in analytical discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Economics, or similar)
3+ years of experience delivering actionable insights based on data
Strong analytical skills with proven practical experience
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with BI, data preparation and analysis tools (Power BI, SQL, Pyspark, Databricks)
Experience within a statistical analysis language (e.g. R, Python) is a plus
Analytical, creative and pragmatic thinking
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels and across geographies
Comfortable taking initiative and driving it through to completion
Problem solver with ability to create and share work
Curious and eager to learn within business and technology
Ability to interpret and translate complex information into understandable, compelling and actionable insights
Strong commercial mindset

Nice to have:

Experience within a statistical analysis language (e.g. R, Python)
