The Senior Consultant role focuses on managing SAP Performance Testing strategies using tools like NeoLoad and LoadRunner. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP and Performance Testing, with strong communication skills to coordinate across teams. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on optimizing SAP solutions. SAP is requesting a Performance Test Manager with both experience in SAP (from a technical point of view) and experience in Performance Testing. Phase 1: Installation of a Performance Tester to estimate a future delivery scenario to cover the requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Managing and implementing the SAP Performance Testing strategy across multiple teams and time zones
Analysis of end-to-end processes for viability in load testing with expected tool
Design realistic load scenarios based off customer data volumes and personnel
Setting customer expectations and schedule for automated load testing
Coordinating single user performance tests (interfaces, batches, and extracts) across multiple teams and time zones
Reporting status of performance testing and interacting with customer PMO to communicate performance issues
Setting and managing customer expectations with regards to service scope vs customer wish list
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP and Performance Testing
Managing and implementing the SAP Performance Testing strategy across multiple teams and time zones
Expert knowledge with the automated performance tool with its limitations and advantages (NeoLoad, LoadRunner and JMeter)
2+ years’ experience HANA, Fiori, OpenText, NetWeaver, SAC, Web UI, Personas
Analysis of end-to-end processes for viability in load testing with expected tool
Design realistic load scenarios based off customer data volumes and personnel
Setting customer expectations and schedule for automated load testing
Coordinating single user performance tests (interfaces, batches, and extracts) across multiple teams and time zones
Reporting status of performance testing and interacting with customer PMO to communicate performance issues
SDLC with regards to the SAP Activate methodology and load testing
Setting and managing customer expectations with regards to service scope vs customer wish list
Excellent soft skills to explain technical details, workshop project scope, and gather data from teams with conflicting schedules
Ability to and prior experience in de-escalation procedures
