Job Description:

Senior Consultant Specialist role in HSBC's technology team focusing on automated testing with Java, Cucumber, and various testing tools for payments systems

Job Responsibility:

Create and update automated test scripts
Perform test preparation including test data creation
Execute automated test scripts
Troubleshoot test results
Review and signoff user stories written by Ops BA and low level design created by Tech Architects
Work with IT PM to create project plan and ensure adherence
Work with Developers in remediating test findings
Own and arrange automated test scripts review with management team
Create test plan and test execution result documents

Requirements:

8+ years overall experience in manual and automation testing projects
Extensive Payments experience (mandatory)
ISO20022 knowledge (advantage)
Solid knowledge in Java programming, Cucumber and Postman tools usage
Knowledge of JMeter and Selenium (added advantage)
Relational database operation and development experience (Oracle, MySQL)
DevOps tools experience (Jenkins, Docker, Git - plus)
API testing experience (advantage)
K8S and Kafka experience (advantage)
Basic knowledge of Java concept and Linux command/shell script
Master basic use of database
Strong exposure to testing terminologies and processes
Understand lifecycle of software programming
Strong communication skills
Good English skills (writing, reading, oral)

Nice to have:

ISO20022 knowledge
JMeter and Selenium knowledge
DevOps tools experience (Jenkins, Docker, Git)
API testing experience
K8S and Kafka experience
