Job Description:

A forward-thinking CDM specialist consultancy is looking for a motivated CDM Principal Designer to join their social team in Bedford. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving consultancy focused exclusively on design risk and CDM compliance. The successful CDM Principal Designer will be offered excellent support as you look to grow your career. Despite having a thriving employee culture they offer both Hybrid and remote work.

Job Responsibility:

Work closely with clients and design teams to ensure risk is effectively managed from concept design through to handover
Provide expert advice
Prepare CDM documentation
Take the lead on multiple medium to large scale projects

Requirements:

NEBOSH Construction Certificate (required)
Tech IOSH (minimum)
APS membership (preferred)
Design degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying (preferred)
3 years’ minimum experience delivering PD duties
Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations and design risk
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
