Senior Business Development Representative - Technology Modernization Services. Role Overview: The BDR will be responsible for building, progressing, and closing qualified pipeline for OptiSol’s legacy modernization services. This role focuses on complex, consultative sales engagements involving enterprise-scale modernization programs. The BDR owns opportunity progression and revenue outcomes and works closely with SDRs, digital marketing, solution architects, and delivery leaders. This is an end-to-end sales role focused on converting prioritised opportunities into new client wins.
Job Responsibility:
Own end-to-end sales execution and revenue outcomes for technology modernization services
Engage with senior stakeholders from enterprises such as CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Enterprise Architects
Lead discovery and qualification discussions to understand business drivers, technical landscape, and modernization priorities
Shape opportunities into assessments, phased modernization programs, or full-scale transformation engagements
Collaborate with SDR and digital marketing teams to define priority accounts and guide account-based outreach strategies
Work closely with solution architects and practice leaders during early deal shaping and proposal development
Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and opportunity tracking in CRM
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in business development, consulting sales, or solution sales within IT services or technology consulting
Proven experience owning revenue targets and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and modernization initiatives
Ability to engage confidently with senior technical and business stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with structured sales motions involving SDRs and marketing teams
Nice to have:
Prior experience working with clients in North America and/or Europe is preferred
