Job Description:

The Senior Bid / Pursuits Coordinator plays a vital role in the successful execution of TSA Riley's bid development, coordination and writing activities across the UK&I region. Reporting to the Pursuits Manager, this role has end-to-end responsibility for the coordination of complex and critical bids, requiring a high level of autonomy and accountability. Working closely with technical specialists and the global pursuits team, the role engages key stakeholders, drives collaboration, and ensures tender submissions are consistently high quality, aligned in style, compliant, and delivered efficiently within often tight timeframes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively manage and oversee your own tenders, ensuring visibility and effective management of opportunities across strategic national and area accounts and support the team's efforts to monitor ongoing and upcoming tenders
  • Confidently hold Go/No-Go, Win Theme and Kick-off Calls to gain insights into business objectives to guide successful submissions
  • Coordinate the compilation, completion, and submission of comprehensive tender responses within strict and often short timescales
  • Leverage insights to identify opportunities for deeper client and market engagement, enhancing pursuit effectiveness
  • Ability to apply both client and competitor intelligence to support with bid strategies and research techniques for gathering wider insights on the client's organisation and future pipeline
  • Develop compelling bid content with the support of our technical teams that resonates with client requirements, effectively articulating win themes and differentiators to showcase TSA Riley's strengths and values
  • Execute the pursuits process for strategic and high-priority opportunities. Own the end-to-end process and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tenders and bids, maintaining a high level of communication throughout
  • Continuously improve bid response quality by defining and tracking success metrics, enhancing processes, embedding lessons learned
  • Ability to identify linkages in projects, people, services, and sectors to optimise TSA Riley's submissions and marketing material
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to review bid submissions, ensuring clarity, consistency, compliance with client specifications, and alignment with TSA Riley branding
  • Ability to understand and articulate client needs, identifying, understanding, and effectively communicating client needs, ensuring that proposal content aligns with client expectations
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of project case studies, updates to CVs and answers from previous bids
  • Help us remain compliant by keeping portals up to date, updating general information and submitting evidence when required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business, focusing on fostering trust and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure best practices are shared and embedded across business to drive excellence in pursuit activities
  • Work as part of a wider Marketing & Pursuits team, ensuring close collaboration to share relevant information and maintain an understanding of wider team strategies, objectives and activities. Contribute and support with business development activities as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline
  • 4-6 years' experience in pursuit strategies, ideally within B2B environments in property, infrastructure or professional services
  • Demonstrated success delivering pursuits and bid opportunities in the UK
  • Proven experience managing the full bid lifecycle, from qualification and planning through to response, writing and submission
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and presentations
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability across a broad business base
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in pursuit strategy development within competitive markets
  • Strong analytical skills, a data-driven mindset and uncompromising attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign, with the ability to produce high-quality, on-brand documents
  • Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of large-scale pursuit strategies and 'must-win' projects
  • Skilled at building and maintaining strategic relationships aligned to TSA Riley's vision and growth objectives
  • Personally accountable for delivering high-quality results that meet or exceed client and business expectations
