Job Description:

Senior Application Support Analyst role at Citi providing strategic support for Global Commodities business, ensuring system availability, supporting trade life cycle flows, and working with various technology teams to maintain mission critical trading systems.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions
Identify and define necessary system enhancements
Analyze existing system logic, identify problems
Recommend and implement solutions
Handle day to day BAU support for Singapore Global Commodities business
Ensure near 100% availability of applications and associated infrastructure
Provide business support for mission critical trading system
Support all aspects of Commodities trade life cycle flows
Raise problems to appropriate technology and business teams
Build and maintain technical support documentation
Act as liaison between users/traders and technology groups
Participate in application releases from development to production
Perform post release checkouts
Active involvement in Support Project items covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives

Requirements:

5-10 years experience
Prior experience with e-trading support/Front Office Support
Working knowledge of Oracle SQL
Prior experience with Solaris/Linux
Working knowledge of Python Scripting
Demonstrable track record of hands-on application support experience in global markets related business
Exposure to Cloud technologies and DevOps (CI/CD) tools and techniques
Working knowledge of Openlink product
Prior E-trading Experience
Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems/components
Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
IT (spreadsheet/analytical/modeling skills)
Positive attitude and keen to learn
Ability to work under stress and time constraints
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Nice to have:

Sound knowledge on Business/understanding of financial markets and products
Experience with Messaging Technologies (TIBCO EMS/SOLACE)
Experience with real-time monitoring systems such as ITRS Netagent, APP Dynamics or Splunk
Job scheduling tool such as Autosys
Issue tracking and reporting using tools such as Service Now, JIRA
Knowledge/experience of problem Management Tools
Good all-round PC skills (Windows OS/Networks/General Hardware)
