Job Description:

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, is the world’s leading travel search engine. The company is actively seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join their team in Vilnius, offering opportunities for innovation in building consumer-facing mobile applications and improving their travel products. The job involves developing and maintaining high-quality applications, collaborating with international teams, and writing thorough tests. Hybrid work with at least three days in-office is required.

Job Responsibility:

architecting and developing innovative features for our product
maintain a high standard of quality for our code, features, and products
collaborating with different teams to improve our products and technologies
writing thorough tests to improve the quality of both our code and product.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience and ability to develop, maintain, and innovate large-scale, consumer-facing mobile applications
experience with Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and the Android Framework
strong English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to different audiences
proficient in crafting and constructing scalable application infrastructure, working with collaborators and diverse teams, and delivering projects on time and with outstanding quality
strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
an understanding of best-practice UX with a good eye for design details
capability of devising clean and simple solutions to complex problems
hands-on experience writing high-quality unit, UI and integration tests
the capacity to thrive in a hybrid working model, including the ability to attend the office at least 3 days a week.
