We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
Prepare and post journal entries to support financial operations and adjustments
Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Oversee bank reconciliations, ensuring proper alignment between financial records and bank statements
Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and compliance requirements
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic business decisions
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all financial activities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting workflows

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level role
Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance
Strong skills in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations
Experience with bank reconciliation processes and financial accuracy
Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
