Senior Accountant

• Oversee complex reconciliations including journal entries, debt management, interest accruals, and loan origination fee accounting
• Lead the month-end close process including reviewing prepayments, exporting data from accounts payable systems, and booking accruals
• Supervise accounts payable operations ensuring timely review of check runs and payment completions
• Manage recurring financial processes such as cash forecasting and financial postings
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of five direct reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and accuracy in financial reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting tasks
• Monitor and optimize the use of accounts payable software
• Support audits and other financial reviews as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including team management
• Proficiency in general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliation
• Strong experience with month-end close and bank reconciliations
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial processes
