Senior Accountant

• Manage month-end close procedures
• prepare and review journal entries to maintain integrity in the general ledger
• conduct account and bank reconciliations
• oversee fixed asset accounting activities
• support project accounting efforts
• assist with audit preparation
• collaborate on external audit processes
• contribute to lease accounting tasks
• generate investor reports
• utilize tools like NetSuite, Workiva, and Excel
• participate in general accounting duties

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance
• strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations
• solid understanding of fixed asset accounting and related disposals
• familiarity with external audit workpapers and annual audit processes
• experience with accounting software such as NetSuite and Workiva is preferred
• advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions and data analysis
• knowledge of lease and project accounting principles
• ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
