Job Description:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting, and to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position is responsible for the GL, month end close, budgeting, etc. The person reports to a site finance professional and works closely with the Cost accountant. There is heavy interface with other departments in preparation of the financial report, and maintenance of the budgeting and accounting system.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting, and to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
Responsible for the GL, month end close, budgeting, etc
Reports to a site finance professional and works closely with the Cost accountant
Heavy interface with other departments in preparation of the financial report, and maintenance of the budgeting and accounting system

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, with at least some of that time within the Manufacturing industry
Proficiency in General Ledger management
Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation
Demonstrated ability in Month End Close procedures
Strong skills in Financial Reporting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in using accounting software
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
