Job Description:

Lawes are working exclusively with a well-established and expanding Insurance Broker to recruit an experienced Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to join their commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a substantial portfolio of clients while driving new business opportunities and contributing to the team's continued growth. You will provide exceptional client service by managing and growing a diverse commercial portfolio, building strong relationships, and delivering effective risk and protection solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing renewals, adjustments and day-to-day servicing
Identify opportunities for growth, both within existing accounts and through new business development
Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Support and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Meeting with clients across Buckinghamshire, London and the Home Counties
Handling client queries and providing timely, professional advice
Preparing and presenting renewal terms and recommendations
Monitoring market developments to ensure clients receive the most suitable solutions
Supporting junior colleagues and sharing technical knowledge

Requirements:

Proven background in managing commercial clients within a professional services environment
Track record of business development and client retention
Experience of working with a broad range of industry sectors
Understanding of compliance, governance, and industry regulations
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Competence with industry systems (Acturis experience advantageous)
Professional qualifications (CII/ACII) desirable
