Job Responsibility:
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school's SEND policy
Coordinate specialist provision and support for pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support
Work collaboratively with the existing SENCO to maintain continuity of care
Utilise the school's excellent facilities to foster an engaging learning environment
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
NASENCO Qualification (National Award for SEN Coordination)
Proven experience as a SENCO within a UK primary setting
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
A proactive, empathetic, and collaborative approach to inclusive education
