Are you an experienced SENCO looking for a rewarding, flexible role to see out the academic year? Randstad Education is currently supporting a vibrant, forward-thinking primary school in Colchester to recruit a dedicated SENCO for three days per week. This school is a true "learning community," celebrated for its inclusive culture and its commitment to ensuring every child-regardless of their starting point-reaches their full potential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school's SEND policy
  • Coordinate specialist provision and support for pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
  • Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support
  • Work collaboratively with the existing SENCO to maintain continuity of care
  • Utilise the school's excellent facilities to foster an engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
  • NASENCO Qualification (National Award for SEN Coordination)
  • Proven experience as a SENCO within a UK primary setting
