Job Description:

A Mainstream Primary School with a Special Resource Provision (SRP) are searching for x4 Teaching Assistants to join them this September 2025. The SRP is a bridge between a mainstream primary school and a special needs school. Two classes, 7-9 children each, with a teacher and two TAs in each class. The provision is mostly play-based, with children dipping into subject-specific curriculum as and when they are suitable based on their developmental ability.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting EYFS, KS1 and KS2 children – ages 5-9
Learning through play
Supporting children with Social, Communication and Interaction delays/difficulties, Autism, Speech and Language delay, Sensory processing difficulties, Physical self-help difficulties, Cognition and learning delay, Global Delay, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs

Requirements:

bright graduate
experience with special needs including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties
Psychology graduates or those interested in SEN, Mental Health and Psychology
