Job Description:

A primary school in Islington believe that equipping children with the skills and knowledge to achieve their true potential and inspire them with a rich and varied curriculum. They are searching for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Support Assistant for a child with Autism. This is a September 2025 start position!

Job Responsibility:

Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN requirements
Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils
Scope to extent permanently, with opportunities like Teacher Training
Continuous training and CPD opportunities
Fantastic SENCO and SEN provisions in place
Strong inclusion team, staff and SLT to support you

Requirements:

Previous experience working with SEN children
A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish within
Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for supporting those with Special Educational Needs

Nice to have:

Graduate searching for the perfect role to start their career in education
Individual passionate about SEN who is looking to work alongside the best specialist staff and equipment such as Speech and Language Therapists, Hydro therapists, Psychologists and more
