Job Responsibility:
Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs using the P Scales curriculum
Implement effective teaching strategies for diverse learning styles and needs
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment through proactive behaviour management
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create comprehensive student support plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
Contribute to the overall school improvement plan
Participate in professional development opportunities
Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Minimum of 6 months experience teaching students with SEN in the UK
Strong understanding of the P Scales curriculum
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Legal right to work in the UK
