SEN Teacher

• Design, prepare, and execute engaging, tailored lessons that precisely address the needs and targets outlined in all Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Systematically conduct both formal and informal assessments, thoroughly analyse student attainment data, and modify pedagogical approaches to guarantee optimal learning progression
• Select, create, and adapt all instructional materials and classroom activities, ensuring the curriculum is fully accessible to every single learner
• Form strong partnerships with Teaching Assistants, external support services, and parents/carers to implement a unified, interdisciplinary support framework
• Cultivate a structured, supportive, and completely inclusive learning environment that promotes outstanding conduct and publicly acknowledges the effort and success of every student

• Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory
• Significant, demonstrated history of teaching students with a variety of SEN within a UK educational setting
• A comprehensive grasp of SEN codes of practice, various intervention strategies, and highly effective differentiation techniques
• Must be exceptionally patient, resourceful, proactive, and demonstrate superior classroom management capabilities
• Must possess a current, satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared to apply without delay upon securing the role

A relevant SEN qualification or extensive background supporting pupils with severe or complex needs is a substantial advantage
