Job Description:

At IKEA, the role involves assisting customers with furnishing solutions, maintaining a presentable area, and providing support for purchase decisions in a fast-paced retail setting.

Job Responsibility:

Be an IKEA Ambassador by offering home furnishing solutions and answering customer questions
Help customers navigate the store and find their needs
Ensure recovered product is properly stored, area is stocked and presentable, and shelf labels are accurate
Identify customer needs by asking insightful questions and advising on home solutions
Stay informed about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits
Support team with additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

Amazing attention for details and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
Excellent customer service skills to assess customer’s needs and sell solutions
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to strike up conversations easily
Passion for IKEA products and design, as well as Sustainability commitment
Approximately 6 months of work experience in a high-volume sales or customer service environment
Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, including lifting heavy items up to 50 lbs.
