Job Description:

Polis Bantuan (Security Assistant) at MyTOWN Shopping Centre is responsible for carrying out patrolling, ensuring security and safety measures, addressing emergencies, and enforcing rules in the mall to ensure a safe environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute patrolling and Static Post Control, crime prevention and detect suspicious people
  • Carrying out the safety and security responsibilities as directed
  • Adhering to direction from Senior Security Assistant and Higher-Ranking Officer at all times
  • Reporting emergencies to the Senior Security Assistant and promptly taking the necessary actions during any emergencies, incidences, criminal activities, pickets, riots, sabotages, civil threats and etc.
  • Patrolling the designated routes/ locations or such other routes determined from time to time
  • Directing smooth flow of traffic during peak hours and emergencies as well as dealing with errant motorist and illegal parking
  • Immediately reporting to Senior Security Assistant of any mechanical & electrical faults or damage as well as leaking water pipes, gas leaks, lift malfunctions (where applicable), fire, etc.
  • Monitoring, recording and reporting to Senior Security Assistants on construction and vicinity maintenance/ upgrade works i.e. working hours and nature of work, noise level, etc.
  • Manage the outsourced security guards and monitor performance of the service provider
  • Enforce all safety and fire rules in the mall eg.SecCheck inspection and audit

Requirements:

  • SPM with passes in at least 5 subjects, including Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah
  • Malaysian citizen aged within 20 years old to 35 years’ old
  • Do not have any Criminal Record & Drug Influence and have a good health condition and eye sight
  • Height for Male is 165cm & Female is 157cm
  • Chest with normal 81cm & with deep breath 86cm (Male)
  • Weight for Male is 50kg & Female is 48kg
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
