Job Description:

The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from sales desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in Fixed Income Sales activities, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process orders and transactions originating from sales desks and branch offices
  • assist in Fixed Income Sales activities, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions
  • ensure trades are booked correctly
  • ensure trade confirmations are sent timely
  • work with clients and business acting as point of contact to resolve any queries
  • recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree
  • relevant experience in Fixed Income or Equity Cash Sales Middle Office, or Fixed Income Settlement Operations (preferred)
  • demonstrated comprehension of Fixed Income (preferred)
