The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from sales desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in Fixed Income Sales activities, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
Job Responsibility:
Process orders and transactions originating from sales desks and branch offices
assist in Fixed Income Sales activities, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions
ensure trades are booked correctly
ensure trade confirmations are sent timely
work with clients and business acting as point of contact to resolve any queries
recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/University degree
relevant experience in Fixed Income or Equity Cash Sales Middle Office, or Fixed Income Settlement Operations (preferred)
demonstrated comprehension of Fixed Income (preferred)
energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise
demonstrated success interacting with stakeholders in the business as well as the Operations, and Technologies
strong risk management and control mindset
self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
Japanese: native or business level for both writing and speaking where client service can be provided
