Job Description:

Hang Seng is seeking a high-caliber professional to support its securities business with focus on ensuring compliance with regulations and group standards. Responsibilities include business planning, controls, monitoring regulatory developments, and collaborating with teams to align product management and governance. Candidates should have related experience in the Hong Kong investment market, knowledge of local and Chinese markets, strong communication skills, and proficiency in English, Chinese, and Putonghua.

Job Responsibility:

To take leading role in the Business Development and Controls team and work on the increasing number of complex topics in Business Planning and Controls
To act as the key player in supporting overall securities business (retail and extended oversight on PBD) and work closely across Product Management and Governance, Business Planning and Controls to ensure alignment and consistency
To collaborate with the colleagues of the team to make sure the securities services team is complying with the rules from regulator and group standard
To monitor the latest regulatory development as well as the Group standard, provide update and also suggest the solution for the latest development.
Help in monitoring the latest market competitors activities and report to management

Requirements:

University graduate in Finance or related disciplines
Over 5 years of related experiences in the Hong Kong investment market
Good knowledge of local stock market
Knowledge/experiences in China’s investment market and business development an advantage
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skill
Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
