Securities and Derivatives Intermediate Analyst

• Process securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products
• Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make process improvement recommendations
• Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed
• Handle all transactions and associated assets of acquired Mutual Funds
• Coordinate processes involving settlement of Global Depository Receipts
• Monitor and process trade settlements through Euroclear and associated corporate action payments
• Responsible for regulatory reporting to Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigeria Stock Exchange, Security and Exchange Commission
• Assess risk when business decisions are made and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

• 8-10 years of post qualification experience with at least 7 years in Banking
• Demonstrated comprehension of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance

Master's degree in business or any business related professional qualification – ACIB (Associate Chartered Institute of Bankers), ACS (Associate Chartered Stockbrokers), ACA (Associate Chartered Accountants)
