Job Description:

Operate and monitor laundry machinery, identify and manage items for repair or cleaning, maintain high cleanliness standards, follow safety procedures, and support team goals. Develop positive working relationships and ensure efficiency and quality in daily operations.

Job Responsibility:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
ensure items are repaired or cleaned appropriately
follow company safety and security policies
develop positive team relationships
implement quality and efficiency improvements
inspect tools and equipment for defects
handle physical demands of the role
perform additional duties as requested.

Requirements:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
add chemicals and clean lint traps
identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
inspect cleanliness of articles and place in clean linen carts
set dryers to designated times and temperatures
remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
fold cleaned articles into designated size
maintain accurate records of items laundered
follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
complete safety training and certifications
ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
protect company assets
develop positive working relationships with others
support the team in reaching common goals
listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
adhere to quality expectations and standards
recommend or implement ways to increase efficiency, quality, safety, or cost-savings
visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects
stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
lift and move objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
reach overhead and below the knees
bend, twist, pull, and stoop
perform other reasonable duties.
