Job Description:

An Outstanding Secondary School in the heart of Newham (E6) is looking to appoint a Science Teacher / Science ECT on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the top-performing state schools in the country, with an exceptional record of student achievement, behaviour, and staff development.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching across KS3 – KS5, including a nationally renowned Sixth Form
Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the Sciences
Working collegiately to deliver exciting, evidence-informed lessons that stretch and inspire pupils

Requirements:

Must hold UK QTS (or be on track to achieve it by July 2025)
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed
Strong academic background and subject knowledge
High expectations and a clear commitment to evidence-informed practice
Reflective, open to feedback, and committed to professional growth
