Job Description:

Join our client's team as a School Admissions Officer at a highly successful secondary school based in the heart of Coventry. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the education sector and help shape the future of the school and the students served.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all aspects of admissions and appeals, ensuring compliance with relevant criteria and legislation
Support pupil attendance for the Sixth Form, fostering a positive educational environment

Requirements:

Previous experience in school admissions within a primary or secondary setting
Solid understanding of the legal framework surrounding school admissions and appeals
Persuasive and effective communication skills to engage with staff, parents, and students
Strong analytical abilities to maintain accurate and timely information on admissions and transitions
Experience in a busy environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
Ability to cope with interruptions while maintaining accuracy and composure
Enhanced DBS
