Requirements:

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within data analysis and statistical projects
  • Familiarity with industry-specific applications of SAS (e.g., healthcare, finance, marketing)
  • Proficiency in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL
  • Extensive experience with SAS Enterprise Guide for creating, modifying, and running SAS programs and processes
  • Strong skills in data manipulation, data cleaning, and data transformation
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and complex data structures
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and procedures for data analysis
  • Ability to perform descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, regression analysis, and other statistical techniques using SAS
  • Experience in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAS tools such as SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Enterprise Guide
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights
  • Experience with integrating SAS with other data sources and platforms
  • Proficiency in automating SAS processes and scripts to improve efficiency
  • Experience in managing and delivering data projects within scope, time, and budget constraints
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, and creating comprehensive documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and end-users
  • Certifications: SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9
  • SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9
  • Additional relevant SAS certifications
  • Fluent in English
