Job Description:

The SAP OTC Lead role involves leading the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA OTC processes, requiring extensive experience in SAP Sales & Distribution and S/4HANA. The candidate will manage cross-functional teams, mentor junior consultants, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules. Strong documentation and training skills are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA OTC processes (quotation, order management, delivery, billing, and revenue posting)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for OTC topics, conduct workshops, gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate complex needs into scalable SAP solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules like Finance (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), Transportation Management (TM), and external systems (CRM, 3PLs, EDI)
  • Define functional specifications for custom developments (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows - RICEFW), and govern their development and testing
  • Define and execute test strategies across various phases (SIT, UAT, regression testing), ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards, and manage defect resolution
  • Direct data migration activities for OTC master and transactional data (customer master, open orders, etc.) from legacy systems and provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation (process flows, configuration guides, training materials) and conduct user training sessions

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) with a minimum of two full-cycle S/4HANA implementations
  • Proficiency in S/4HANA architecture, simplifications in the SD module, SAP Fiori apps and user interfaces, and new functionalities like Advanced ATP (aATP), Business Partner approach, and Revenue Accounting (RAR)
  • Expertise in configuring key SD processes including sales order processing, pricing, billing, credit management (FSCM), output management, returns, intercompany sales, and third-party order processing
  • Strong understanding of integration touchpoints with other modules (FI-AR, MM, PP, LE, TM) and external systems using EDI/IDoc, APIs, etc.
  • Familiarity and experience with SAP implementation methodologies, especially the SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery models
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional and multi-location teams, mentor junior consultants, and manage stakeholders effectively
