Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Data Migration Lead/Architect to define and execute data migration strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5-10 years of SAP experience, including hands-on experience in full-cycle SAP migration projects. Strong knowledge of SAP data structures and proficiency in migration tools is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and own the end-to-end data migration strategy in collaboration with solution architects
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all data migration activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead technical and functional teams in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process
  • Establish data quality objectives and validation criteria in alignment with business requirements
  • Oversee delivery using LSMW, BAPIs, IDocs, SAP Data Services, and SAP Migration Cockpit tools
  • Ensure data traceability and integrity through all test phases (Mock Loads, Dry Run, Cut-over)
  • Identify risks proactively and propose mitigation plans to avoid migration-related issues
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, business, management) and external partners
  • Actively participate in project governance, status reporting, and data quality workshops

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification
  • Minimum 5-10 years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years as a Data Migration Lead
  • Hands-on experience in at least two full-cycle SAP migration projects (preferably to S/4HANA)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP data structures across modules (MM, SD, FI, CO, PP, HR, etc.)
  • Proficiency in migration tools: SAP BODS, SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, etc.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling
  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate)
  • Experience with cloud-based migrations (e.g., S/4HANA on GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Familiarity with SAP MDG or other data quality tools
  • Understanding of business process interdependencies and data governance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills
